Our programs

Our accomodation

LAL propose the following types of accomodations

Club Residence

Students can use the swimming pool and games room. Internet access available at a surcharge
(available from June 14th - September 13th 2015).


  • Shared, air-conditioned rooms with private facilities.
Home Stay

Families are selected carefully and visited regularly to ensure that only high standards are maintained. Most of them are situated in the neighbouring districts.

Our activities

LAL propose the following types of activities

Junior Activities :

Culture excursion:

  • Harbour Cruise : One of the most beautiful ports in the world and is a true haven for photography enthusiasts .
  • Valletta & 5D Cinema : From the Upper Barrakka Gardens to get a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and Cottoner.
  • Mdina & Ta’Qali Crafts village : Guided tour around the Medieval City of Mdina - ‘the Silent City’ - and visit to the Mdina Experience (audiovisual show) and Ta’Qali crafts village.

Fun excursion:

  • Mediterraneo Marine Park : A great entertaining opportunity for adults and children to learn more about the sea and the creatures which live in it.
  • Mdina by Night Treasure Hunt : Map in hand, follow the clues to unfold the night’s mystery!

Sport excursion:

  • Badger Karting : Group competing in a 5 min race.

Sighseeing excursion:

  • Limestone Heritage & San Anton Gardens : Audio visual and walk-through experience to the beautiful gardens at the Presidents residence.
  • Three Cities : Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa, better known as ‘The Three Cities’, first home to the Knights of St. John.
  • Harbour Cruise : Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour and witness the history & beauty of Valletta & the Three Cities.
  • South of Malta - Marsaxlokk & Blue Grotto : Traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk, then Wied iz-Zurrieq with free time for swimming & relaxing. Optional boat trip (EUR 7) to Blue Grotto with its crystal clear water & rich underwater flora.

Sport excursion:

  • Diving : A wonderful opportunity to try out various diving courses in the numerous unique bays of Malta!.From 375 €.

Fun excursion:

  • Splash & Fun : An afternoon of breathtaking rides, relaxing atmosphere and fun activities at Malta’s Splash & Fun Water Park. 15 €.

Sighseeing excursion :

  • Comino Cruise (optional) : A day in the sun whilst cruising to Comino in the unforgettable crystal clear waters of the magical blue lagoon.  Price includes a Maltese ftira (bread) + drink. 15 €.



  • Homestay: host families will wash a reasonable amount of clothes once a week only, additional laundry must be washed by the students themselves.
  • Residence: laundry available at extra charge.

Security and keys:

  • Homestay: minor students are not given keys
  • Residence: students will be given one key per room

Deposit and damage:

  • Homestay: no deposit is required but any damage must be covered.
  • Residence: a deposit of EUR50 is required and any damage must be covered.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning:

  • Homestay: bed linen is supplied once a week, while towels are supplied twice a week; general cleaning is provided once a week.
  • Residence: bed linen provided and changed mid week; towels changed daily or according to necessity; rooms cleaned daily if necessary.
